Objective 1: To develop and deliver training sessions on Slow Tourism, ensuring participants gain a comprehensive understanding of Slow Tourism principles, market demand, and best practices.
Objective 2: To mentor and support Med-Pearls project's beneficiaries in developing Slow Tourism products. This includes creating marketable, experience-driven tourism offerings that align with Slow Tourism principles and ongoing guidance to enhance the quality and market readiness of tourism packages.
Objective 3: Support project public events
Key Activities:
Designed training materials, including case studies, exercises, and discussions on global best practices based on MED Pearls project research .
Conducted a 1-hour awareness session and a 4-hour in-depth training, covering Slow Tourism concepts, product development, responsible tourism, and market demand.
Facilitated discussions and hands-on exercises, engaging participants in strategic tourism planning and practical applications to enhance sustainable tourism offerings.
Conducted product mapping in Salt and Deir Ala, identifying tourism assets, local experiences, and potential for Slow Tourism integration.
Coordinated site inspections and assessments, evaluating locations for their suitability and alignment with Slow Tourism principles.
Conceptualized and developed 10 themed tourism programs, ensuring they align with Slow Tourism principles and offer immersive, sustainable experiences.
Developed a commercialization plan, outlining strategies for marketing, packaging, and selling Slow Tourism experiences to target audiences.
Mentored beneficiaries on digital integration, supporting their connection with project networks and online platforms to enhance visibility and market reach.
Facilitated the implementation of the Slow Tourism Forum and the Final Conference held in Jordan, coordinating logistics, speaker engagement, and thematic discussions to showcase project achievements and best practices.
