Objective: To analyze internal factors affecting women's employment and career advancement in Jordan’s tourism private sector, identifying challenges in workplace policies, cultural norms, and professional development and to provide actionable recommendations for public and private stakeholders to foster a more inclusive and gender-balanced tourism industry in Jordan.

Agritourism Roadmap Development and Project Local Coordination
FAO/EBRD Strengthening backward linkages between local agricultural producers and the tourism industry (2022 – 2024)
Objective 1: Develop a roadmap for agritourism development, defining a common understanding of agritourism, conducting a SWOT analysis, and mapping key public and private sector stakeholders, establish a shared vision and strategic objectives, prioritize key interventions through an operational action plan, and create momentum for stakeholder collaboration.
Objective 2: Coordinate project implementation on the ground, ensuring alignment with the local context and effectively managing stakeholder mapping to facilitate smooth execution.

CBI Tourism Project
Objective 1: To assess the landscape of sustainable tourism and CBT in Jordan, identifying key stakeholders and opportunities for CBI’s engagement based on sector insights, best practices, and the identification of new practitioners. Develop an action plan and intervention strategies, ensuring CBI’s contribution aligns with project objectives while avoiding duplication of existing initiatives.
Objective 2: To strengthen sustainability integration in Jordan’s tourism sector by supporting stakeholders in adopting sustainable practices, including forming a practitioners’ group, hosting an annual conference, supporting JTB sustainability efforts,building the capacity of 18 tour operators, and assisting ASEZA’s Green Growth Strategy and Green Destinations Certification efforts.

Objective: to support the team of experts in analyzing and identifying product-level opportunities and constraints in Jordan’s tourism sector from a price perspective across five high-potential market segment - beach and sun, cultural heritage, faith, adventure tourism, and MICE, by benchmarking them against regional and international competitors to inform the government’s policy agenda and drive sustainable growth.

Labour Market Analysis in the Tourism Sector
GIZ - Labour Market Oriented Vocational Education, Higher Education and Training (MOVE-HET) Project
Objective: To analyze labor market conditions, growth potential, skill demands, labor trends, challenges, and required support in Jordan’s formal and informal tourism sectors. And assess private sector and stakeholder involvement in the sector’s institutional structure, particularly from an employment perspective.

EU-funded MEDUSA project
Jordan Inbound Tour Operators Association (JITOA) & The Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature (RSCN)
Objective: To co-lead the EU-funded MEDUSA project (2019-2022) under the ENI CBCMED Program, focusing on adventure tourism product development in Jordan. This included managing research, capacity-building activities, subgrant programs, and marketing initiatives to enhance sustainable destination management and support the growth of adventure tourism.

Slow Tourism Development
EU-funded MED-PEARLS project
Objective 1: To develop and deliver training sessions on Slow Tourism, ensuring participants gain a comprehensive understanding of Slow Tourism principles, market demand, and best practices.
Objective 2: To mentor and support Med-Pearls project's beneficiaries in developing Slow Tourism products. This includes creating marketable, experience-driven tourism offerings that align with Slow Tourism principles and ongoing guidance to enhance the quality and market readiness of tourism packages.

Partners for Good’s (PfG) / Local Partnership for Tourism Development (Shams) Funded by Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Jordan
Objective: To develop and deliver a structured training program on adventure tourism in Ma’an Governorate, enhancing the knowledge and skills of youth in adventure tourism principles. The training aimed to provide theoretical and practical insights, covering sustainable tourism practices, product development, and operational standards, while assessing participants’ progress through pre and post-training evaluations.

Al Hasa Agri-tourism Destination and Product Assessment
Saudi Public Investment Fund
Objective 1: To assess the tourism landscape in Al Ahsa, identifying key assets, opportunities, and challenges to enhance its position as a cultural, heritage, and agritourism destination. The assignment aimed to evaluate tourism infrastructure, visitor trends, stakeholder roles, and product development potential, providing strategic recommendations for sustainable tourism growth and experience enhancement.
Objective 2: To assess the potential for agritourism development in Al Ahsa by evaluating 41 farms, identifying tourism opportunities, infrastructure needs, and market viability. The assignment aimed to map existing services, analyze visitor potential, engage stakeholders, and propose strategic interventions to enhance farm-based tourism experiences. Additionally, the assessment sought to provide actionable recommendations for capacity-building, investment, and marketing strategies to position Al Ahsa as a leading agritourism destination.

Mapping Assessment & Market Research
Jordan Society of Tourism and Travel Agents (JSTA) - USAID LENS Project
Objective: To conduct a mapping assessment and market research for JSTA’s Domestic Tourism National Initiative, identifying existing adventure and nature-based tourism products and services while analyzing market demand and supply gaps. The assignment aimed to support travel agents in diversifying their offerings, develop new tourism packages, and create linkages with service providers to enhance domestic tourism opportunities in Jordan.

Experience Baraka Destinations - Jordan Valley Links Project funded by the MEDA
Objective: To provide project management and technical direction for the Jordan Valley Links (JVL) Project, ensuring the successful design, implementation, and reporting of activities aimed at enhancing community-based tourism and entrepreneurship in Umm Qais and Pella. This included contracting, stakeholder engagement, capacity-building initiatives, and market linkages to support the participation of women and youth entrepreneurs in sustainable tourism development.

Salt Development Corporation - USAID BEST Project
To support the development of As-Salt as a distinctive tourism destination by assisting in conceptualizing and managing grants, destination development planning, and training programs. The main focus was to enhance tourism offerings, improve local business engagement, and strengthen visitor experiences to increase As-Salt’s attractiveness and competitiveness as a key tourism hub in Jordan.
