Objective: The Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature (RSCN)
Key Activities:
Conducted interviews with RSCN staff to collect insights and data for experience development and reporting.
Reviewed previous reports and relevant documents to ensure alignment with project objectives and donor expectations.
Conducted Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) research with local communities to document traditions, crafts, and local food.
Reviewed and assessed potential tourism experiences within RSCN-managed reserves.
Conceptualized comprehensive community-based income-generating experiences for local operators to implement.
Revised and developed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for exisiting and new tourism experiences within the reserves ensuring feasibility and alignment with sustainability principles.
Provided mentorship to experience operators to enhance experience delivery and visitor engagement.
Developed required reports detailing progress, experience design, and sustainable tourism initiatives.
